What is a teaching philosophy?
A teaching philosophy is a statement that you construct to guide you as a teacher. This philosophy does not always stay the same. It will evolve as you change or gain more insight into the teaching profession and how you will fulfil your role in it.
My goal as a teacher is to show passionate on doing my job and I am ready to take whatever it takes to make sure the school become a better place for learners and have positive impact to the environment by taking risks and to work hard so that the passing rate of the school will enhance. In future starting now I am aware that I must look at things different so that what I will be doing is going to be unique  and everyone will have no regret because I will give the best education they ever seen or heard. My goal is to take care of learners in my classroom and I want to give back success to community and encourage my learners and people around them that may contribute on the success and progress of learners.
As a teacher, I am willing to prevent all barriers that influence the success of learners, be able to include parent as they are part of community to give children the care they need. My intention is to make sure that learner knows how to read, to speak well, to write well and work well with numbers. I will persevere with difficult students or learners. Be able to work independently with other and be creative as well as preparing my lecture before lecturing learners “specialist in a phase”, be an assessor, teaching mediator, life-long learner and be a leader or a role model.
The different between learning and teaching.
Learning is a process of learning something. Teaching is a lesson giver to student in a school, college and university.
The teaching and learning process require a student to be better suited to learning in a particular way, using unique modes for thinking, relating and creating. The views of students have particular learning styles that have implication for teaching strategy. As the learners will be given information by teachers this will enhance their skills and knowledge, at the end they will become effective decision maker. The school must be a supportive and non-threatening one in which both learners and teachers will be comfortable. Teachers need to be sensitive to value which are promoted by peers, friends and cultural backgrounds.
As a teacher my role is to carry positive and negative behavior toward learners. I will love my career in order for them to pass in higher marks, assist them and provide a warm environment to the learners as I will be educating South Africa. The main role is playing a second mother for the learners because learners spend a lot of time with teachers. The real teacher becomes through many years training and experiencing in the field, like us as we are training to be better teacher. My role as a teacher is to be with the child in the classroom.
My role as a teacher is to set rules for the learners and must stick to them because I have been trained to be a better teacher, to make sure that no learner intimidate others as I will be showing love and support in educating them and be involved during activities or participation and encourage them as all learners will be depending on me, everything I would say will have impact on them.
Kids learn fast when they feel attracted to an exciting lesson, so my duty is to make them feel welcome and also had enough fun. I will show respect and avoid humiliation among them because that will enhance their confidence. As always they feel secure that might create ambitions in their minds for future academic success. I will pay attention to any suspicious signs that could bother the learners as their behavior demonstrates something that is not right. I will be an open book to all learners so that I will be told problems rather than talking to their friends because learners would not find solution because they are immature. I will create a perfect relationship between them, my last not least role is to love, care, instruct and guide all learners to become successful people in future.
The role of the learner is to listen what he or she is told and do work and behave in a well manner as well as following school policies and class rules. A learner must arrive on class before a teacher arrives. A learner must submit work on time. Respect one another and share resources, a learner must have self-esteem and sense of humor.
An optimal learning can take place on a developed environment so that learners will the suspense of learning and the curiosity; a classroom must be filled with colourful pictures, painting and drawings. The classroom must show success and progress. A teacher must make all learner participate, ask questions and give them work to do. The place where the class will be situated must be out of distraction and construction because the noisy sound will have influence on the child mind.
My personal value is to exhibit a professional behaviour and exhibiting loyalty, I am honest to my surrounding such as peers and colleague, showing fairness, treat everyone equally and I like taking care of people and helping them if are in needs as well as respecting them. I am a self motivator and I am punctual.
